Dexter

OK, so it’s official.  Not only do I watch 4 seasons of Mad Men in a month, but now I’ve already found my next project within 2 weeks.  I know I’m behind people, but please realize I work a lot of hours and I’m impatient.  Meaning it is very hard for me to follow something season to season after a 6 month layoff in between.  I condensed 6 seasons of Sopranos down to 3 months, and I think I like it better that way.  There’s no way I would have been able to handle waiting months to find out what was next for Tony.  Everything is fresh on my mind and I don’t have to remember what happened last week or year for that matter.

But as for Dexter, he is probably my 2nd favorite TV character next to Don Draper (Mad Men).  Dexter is somewhat predictable, yet still seems to surprise me as he continues to reminisce every current speed bump with a childhood memory.  Which is probably why I like him so much because his character is developing much like that of Don Draper.  Every episode you learn of another key event that has shaped his life but really he has always been the same person, he has just gotten better at pretending he’s not that person.

I’m only through the first season but looking forward to what is to come from this very interesting character.  Kudos to Showtime for this one.

Once again…

I’m up entirely too late, on the computer.  But hey I’ve finally got my blogs set up and I will rest easy tonight, after I install just a few more widgets…  :)
